Accessibility Training and Support

Self-guided training in Workday

Log in to Workday to access the courses below. In the Workday Menu go to Personal > Learning > Topics > Digital Accessibility.

  • Accessible Word Documents
  • Accessible Excel Sheets
  • Accessible PowerPoint Presentations
  • Understand, create, and edit inaccessible PDF documents

Accessibility consultation

For general questions about your website’s accessibility, email [email protected] with the subject “Accessibility Consultation”.

Hands-on accessibility workshop

The DoIT Office of Accessibility will facilitate a hands-on workshop to teach you how to remediate PDFs and documents. This is an in-person training and will last approximately 3 hours.

PDF remediation support

On a limited basis, the Office of Accessibility is offering free remediation services for up to 20 PDFs / 200 total pages per agency. 

To request PDF remediation support:

  • Identify the top 20 PDFs on your site. Prioritize transactional, complex documents most needed by Marylanders.
  • Create a spreadsheet with direct links to these 20 inaccessible PDFs.
  • Email this spreadsheet to [email protected] with the subject "Document Remediation Request".
