How to add an image to your website

  1. Click Media in the Drupal menu on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click the blue Add media button near the top of the page.

  3. Click Image.

  4. Click Choose File to upload your image.

    Select the image file from your computer. The maximum file size is 100 megabytes.

  5. Fill in the image fields.

    • Name (required)
    • Alternative text or Decorative (required)- If the image is essential to understanding the page content, write Alternative text for screen readers. Otherwise, check Decorative.
    • Caption
    • Credit

  6. Save and publish.

  7. When editing a page, click Insert Media in the text editor.

  8. Find it in the Add or Select Media screen. Click Insert Selected.

  9. Save your changes.
