How to Manage Your Site's Menu
Managing navigation in Drupal
Setting up the menus properly is one of the most important things you can do to help visitors find what they're looking for. Organizing pages on your site is similar to organizing files within folders on your computer. When adding a page to your site, you must specify the “folder” where a visitor would find that page. In Drupal, this “folder” is called the Parent Link.

How to: Add links to the menus
-
How to Add a Main Navigation LinkUse the main navigation to help visitors find your most important services, resources or programs.
-
How to Add a Utility Navigation LinkUse the utility navigation to highlight sections that are important but not the same level of importance as your main navigation.
-
How to Add a Footer LinkUse the agency footer to highlight other links beyond what is included in the main navigation and utility navigation.
How to reorder navigation links
Use the Drupal Menus page to reorder links within your navigation menus. When editing any of the navigation menus, drag any page you wish to reorder to the proper location using the crosshairs icon to the left of the page title.
Can I add links to other websites in my navigation?
Yes. Your main navigation, utility navigation and agency footer can include links to other websites.
Generally users expect that links in a website's main navigation go to pages within that website. If links in your main navigation go to pages outside of your website, this could potentially confuse users. This doesn't mean you can't do it; just be aware of it and arrange for testing and evaluation to ensure that those links are working the way you want them to.
