How to get access to Drupal

  • If your website is currently in the Maryland Drupal CMS, contact your Drupal Site Administrator or submit an email to [email protected].

  • If your website migration is in progress, you will be given access after the DoIT team conducts Drupal training with your agency. Contact your Site Administrator if you have questions.

  • If your website migration has not yet begun, you will be given access during the migration process. Contact your Portfolio Officer if you have questions about when your site will move to Drupal.

Roles

The Maryland Drupal CMS offers four different roles for your agency to manage how content gets published on your website. Depending on the size of your team, your agency may not use all of these roles. More than one individual can be assigned to each role.

  • Content Editor. This role is typically filled by staff who draft content that needs to be reviewed before publication.
  • Content Publisher. This role is typically filled by an agency liaison who is responsible for making updates to existing content.
  • Content Manager. This role is typically filled by staff from your agency’s central web or communications team.
  • Site Manager. This role is typically filled by your agency’s web manager.
